Aesthetic of Chaos
Aesthetics of Chaos is my exploration of the abandoned Beelitz-Heilstätten sanatorium near Berlin—a place once defined by order, precision, and calm, now shaped by time into a landscape of quiet ruin. Moving through its more than 60 decaying buildings, I found that the transition from order to chaos carries its own unexpected harmony.
In peeling walls, collapsing corridors, and forgotten rooms, beauty emerges not despite destruction but through it. These images reflect my fascination with how entropy reshapes structured spaces into something raw, poetic, and strangely alive. The project invites viewers to sense the mystery, tension, and fragile elegance that linger in places where time has been allowed to run free.
