Katerina Kiper Photography
My name is Katerina, and I was born in Odesa, Ukraine.
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember — from childhood, when my parents used to photograph me, to today, when I create stories through my own lens.
Since 2011, photography has become my main occupation and form of expression. I have completed several professional courses that helped me gain a deeper understanding of light, composition, and the artistic vision behind an image.
Since 2015, I have been a member of the Union of Journalists, photographing reports, festivals, as well as cultural and public events. At the same time, I take part in both group and solo exhibitions, where I present my art projects.
Art photography holds a special place in my creative work. It has allowed me to make a name for myself not only in Odesa but also beyond. My works have been exhibited in Spain, France, Austria, Italy, and New York — an important milestone in my artistic journey.
Since 2022, I have been living in Chemnitz, Germany, where I am developing a new direction — family photography. However, my love for art photography remains unchanged: I continue to work with film, organize vernissages, and host creative meetings.
I collaborate with the Odesa Museum of Western and Eastern Art and have also taken part in organizing the “Odesa” project in Berlin and Heidelberg.
I am a mother of two wonderful children — they often become the subjects of my photographs, as family, sincerity, and genuine emotion are always at the heart of my work as a photographer.
